COMMUTER CHOICES WEEK 2006

OFFICIAL RULES

 

 

 

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
  2. SPONSORS:  Bay Area Commuter Services along with Traffic.com, Inc. and Clean Air Partnership will be giving away a 3-day, 2-night stay for two at the TradeWinds Beach Resorts as the grand prize for the “Commuter Choices Week” campaign.  Contest void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law.  Copies of the official rules are available at the Bay Area Commuter Services office, 1408 N. Westshore Blvd., Suite 704, Tampa, Florida 33607 or online at www.TampaBayRideshare.org.
  3. HOW TO ENTER/ENTRY DEADLINE:  Beginning September 1, get a commitment card through a participating Employer or www.TampaBayRideshare.org and register your commitment for Commuter Choices Week.  You must make a commitment in order to participate and register in this contest.
  4. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:  You must be 18 years old or older.  One prize per household allowed.  Employees of Bay Area Commuter Services, Traffic.com, Inc., Clean Air Partnership, subsidiaries, advertising, print or promotion agencies and their immediate families of each are not eligible to win.  The term “immediate families” includes only spouses, parents, and children.
  5. SELECTION OF WINNERS:  Winners will be drawn at random from registrations received by Bay Area Commuter Services in a drawing held on or after October 10, 2006.
  6. PRIZES:  Bay Area Commuter Services reserves the sole discretion to select the prizes.  One grand prize will be given away.  The grand prize will be three days, two nights accommodations for two at the TradeWinds Beach Resorts.  The winner must come to Bay Area Commuter Services to receive their prize.  The accommodations must be used by February 28, 2007.  Approximate value is $500.  Where applicable, winners are responsible for any and all federal state and local taxes or fees on prizes.  Prizes are not transferable.  Decisions of Bay Area Commuter Services with respect to the selection of winners and all other aspects of the contest are final and binding.  No substitutions or cash equivalent.  The grand prize is subject to availability and blackout dates do apply.  Bay Area Commuter Services, TradeWinds Beach Resorts reserve the right to substitute a prize or component of equal or greater value.  Winners are responsible for all taxes or other fees attributed to prizes.
  7. CONDITIONS OF WINNERS:  Prize winners agree to the use of their name, photo likeness and/or voice for the purpose of trade or other promotional purposes without compensation.  As a condition of receiving the grand prize, the winner must come to Bay Area Commuter Services where they must show photo identification and complete and sign the Prize Receipt and Release Form.  Failure to sign and return the Prize Receipt and Release Form may result in disqualification of grand prize winner and forfeiture of any right to receive the prize.  Winners of all other prizes must sign and return the Prize Receipt and Release Form before prizes are released.
  8. ODDS OF WINNING:  Will depend on the number of actual participants.  There will be one grand prize.
  9. WINNERS LIST:  Bay Area Commuter Services will disclose the winners of the prizes as required by law.  For all names of the winners, send a separate self-addressed stamped envelope to Bay Area Commuter Services “Commuter Choices Week” c/o 1408 N. Westshore Blvd., Suite 704, Tampa, Florida 33607.
  10. MISCELLANEOUS:  By entering the contest, each contestant agrees to release Bay Area Commuter Services, TradeWinds Beach Resorts, Traffic.com, Inc. and Clean Air Partnership, their parent corporations, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, suppliers, directors, officers, agents and employees, advertising, print or promotion agencies and their immediate families from any and all liability, claims, actions or proceedings arising out of and/or injuries or damages sustained in connection with the use of the prizes.  Bay Area Commuter Services, TradeWinds Beach Resorts, Traffic.com, Inc. and Clear Air Partnership are not responsible for any taxes, liabilities or damages which may arise from the awarding of any and all prizes.
