After a Hurricane or Other Disaster?

 

 

Tampa, FL -- Telework Tampa Bay is offering two free workshops to introduce Hillsborough and Pinellas employers to the use of teleworking/telecommuting as an emergency management and disaster recovery tool, and as an important work/life/balance human resources tool.  Telework Tampa Bay is an initiative of Bay Area Commuter Services, Inc. (BACS) and the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council (TBRPC) to develop telework programs as pilot projects with area businessess, both public and private sector.

 

The workshops are scheduled for Wednesday, July 26 at the Quorum Hotel in Tampa and Thursday, July 27 at the TBRPC in Pinellas ParkThe program is designed for employers and will feature how telework can be included as a part of a company's Business Contingency Plan.  The attached flyer gives workshop details.
